چکیده

The aim of the study was to identify a relationship between gene polymorphisms associated with developing coronary heart disease and pathogenetic features opisthorchiasis invasion. There were compared laboratory parameters assessing immune system functioning (lymphocyte immunophenotyping evaluated by flow cytometry, serum immunoglobulin cytokine concentrations, non-specific resistance indices) in patients chronic (caused Opisthorchis felineus) various genotypes with/without mutations loci predisposition disease. It found that invasion leads altered response bearing genes encoding adenosine monophosphate deaminase 1, hypoxia induced factor 1 alpha, apolipoprotein E affecting relevant protein functions those without minor alleles. Upon that, carrying mutation gene, turned out have lowered cellular (decreased count cytotoxic lymphocytes) humoral immunity A level). Patients rare allele hypoxia-induced alpha featured activated adaptive reduced activation innate immunity. Moreover, mutated coupled decreased activity response, which exacerbates course invasion, whereas rs1333049 polymorphism cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor results no significantly response. Thus, gene-related dysfunction certain proteins may allow elicit multidirectional changes so approaching normal range diverse immune-related during parasitic not necessarily be interpreted as “protective” effect exerted any polymorphisms. most prominent detected case factor-induced hypoxia-1 gene. data obtained suggest aforementioned genetic predispose manifestation clinical forms.

Spiritual intelligence and its related factors in patients with ischemic heart disease

Background and Purpose: Diagnosing coronary artery disease can cause considerable impairment in patients' mental health. On the one hand, psychological factors play an important role in the development and progression of heart disease. Therefore, identifying the factors affecting the patient's ability to adapt such as spiritual intelligence (SI) is significant. The study aims to determine the s...

Association of Candidate Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms Related to Candidate Genes in Patients With Schizophrenia

Introduction: Schizophrenia is a chronic heterogenic neurodevelopment disorder. Many genes interfere in the development of SCZ. All four genes, NrCAM, PRODH, ANK3, and ANKK1, which were evaluated in this study, were previously reported to be associated with Schizophrenia. The NrCAM contributes to creating cognitive deficiencies through the CAM’s signaling pathway. PRODH plays a vital role in cr...

Chronic immune stimulation may link ischemic heart disease with depression.

Heart Disease With Depression To the Editor: Carney et al1 reported that greater autonomic heart dysfunction, as reflected by decreased heart rate variability, is a plausible mechanism linking depression to increased cardiac mortality in post–myocardial infarction patients. We want to discuss another possible pathomechanism that might contribute to the fact that depression is an independent ris...
